YDMG has existed in the town of Yarrawonga in one form or another for over 100 years and provides comprehensive, patient-centred, quality medical care to the local community.

Change to Opening Hours and update re: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

The practice’s new facility was purpose built in July 2017 and we are a fully AGPAL accredited general medical practice. 

As a consequence of the worldwide COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and a state of emergency being declared in Victoria, YDMG recognises that the health of the community and of our patients is our first priority, as well as trying to keep our Doctors and all of our staff healthy.

UPDATED OPENING HOURS

In order to help minimise exposure:
FROM MONDAY 23RD MARCH 2020, our clinic opening hours will be reduced (until further notice) to:

9.00am to 5.30pm
Monday to Friday

Weekends – either YDMG or YMC (Yarrawonga Medical Clinic) will be open each weekend from 9am to 12pm

Telephone consultations (Telehealth by phone)

Patients who have been seen at our clinic in the last 12 months, AND:

  • who are 70 years old and over, and/or
  • have chronic health condition/s, and/or
  • are over 50 years old and identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and/or
  • are pregnant, parent of a new baby or infant under 12 months, or an infant themselves, and/or
  • are a patient isolating themselves at home on the advice of the Australian government or a health professional
  • are eligible and encouraged to use telephone consultations, which will be temporarily bulk billed.  Existing bookings where a patient meets any of the above criteria will be changed to a telephone consultation and you will be notified.

DO NOT COME INTO THE CLINIC IF

  • You have a fever, sore throat or cough, or
  • If you think you may have COVID-19,
  • If you have had close contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19,
  • If you have returned from Overseas in the last 14 days

In order to help combat the spread of COVID-19, we request that all patients requiring appointments with a Doctor to please phone the Clinic first – please do not come into the Clinic to make an appointment.

ABOUT US

The practice’s new facility was purpose built in July 2017 and we are a fully AGPAL accredited general medical practice. 

Disabled access is available with ramps leading to street level from both sides of the carpark and wheelchairs /walkers available if required.  A toilet facility suitable for wheelchair access is available. 

Co-located within our complex are Dorevitch Pathology, Woods Road Pharmacy, North East Dental Service, Yarrawonga X-Ray, David Woodburn Podiatrist and Barefoot Lifestyle – Accredited Dietitian.

Please note our clinic is NOT a bulk billing clinic and there will be an out of pocket expense for consultations.
