MEDICAL TRAINING
YDMG is committed to the ongoing development and support of all of our team. Our aim is to be the very best we possibly can be, while retaining work-life balance and individual flexibility.
We have a strong commitment to training and we liaise closely with our training providers, RACGP (https://www.racgp.org.au/) & ACRRM (https://www.acrrm.org.au/), the M2M Intern Program, and the University of Melbourne ERC Program. Each year we accept doctors into our registrar training program, Interns from the M2M Intern program completing a 20 week GP rotation and 3rd year Medical Students completing their 10 month GP placement. We have a particularly experienced team of GP Supervisors who are supported by our GPs, Nurses and Administration staff.
We believe our registrars, recent fellows, Interns and Students are testament to the quality of the training and the opportunities that are available at YDMG.
If you are interested in training at YDMG and would like to know more please contact please contact the Practice Manager, Shelli Kernaghan, on (03) 5744 1777 or email: SKernaghan@denismed.com.au
YDMG supports its registrars, interns & students with formalised teaching and on site supervision at all times. The local training providers RACGP and ACRRM, the M2M Intern Program and the University of Melbourne supplements this with excellent additional support and training.
We are very proud of the contribution our junior doctors bring to YDMG in terms of patient care, and sharing their knowledge with our wider clinical team and socially.
