Urgent Care

In any life threatening situation please call 000.

We have trained nurses to be able to assist you in hours if you need urgent care and find you are unable to get an appointment or your needs are more urgent.

Please ask to be put through to one of our nurses for advice and assistance. They will be able to help you access medical care within an appropriate time frame.

After Hours Care

Both clinics in town participate together to provide a doctor to be available for urgent medical needs after the clinics are closed and on weekends.

Saturday and Sundey clinics – 9am until 1pm

Public Holiday clinics – 10am until 12pm.

Our closest funded (doctors on site) Emergency Department is at the North East Hospital Wangaratta (Green Street Wangaratta – Phone: 5722 5111).

Nursing staff at Yarrawonga Hospital are also able to assist you in accessing appropriate after hours care depending on your needs.

Emergency care is not funded by the state government at Yarrawonga but provided privately by the local GP’s. Nursing staff will contact a GP outside of normal hours if urgent care is required.

North East Health have assisted in providing after hours support to our GP’s and nursing staff in Yarrawonga.
